Abhijit has a Master of International Finance (completed in 2005) degree from University of Canberra, Australia. Currently he owns and manages construction of City Mall in Bhuj.

He is also exploring and developing an agro business. He has run Yamaha dealership for 7 years.

Abhijit was based in Canberra, Australia from 2003 to late 2011. He has worked as an Investment Analyst at Australian Ethical Investment Ltd (AEF) a mutual fund for 5 years and has worked at Deloitte as a Senior Auditor for 1 year in Canberra.

In Australia, he has also assisted in setting up a dedicated Real Estate portfolio for investors of mutual fund worth over AUD 25 million. He has advised on listed equities (analysis on equities in media sector and Australian regional banks) and managed fixed income portfolio of over AUD 100 million. His skills and specialities include quant and portfolio analysis and financial systems project management. He was also in-charge of complete Investment Financial Systems overhaul project at Australian Ethical Investment Ltd.

He has also audited and advised Australian Government Agencies on various financial projects.

Abhijit and Shweta, both Rotarians, are blessed with son Diraaj and daughter Mishka.
