We all know the grief and pain of the earth quake that affected the entire Gujarat on 26th Jan 2001.the conequences and impact are still fresh emotionally,physically,and mentally in the minds of the people. After earthquake of 26th January and after loss of DGE Bharat Dholakia lost home and office at Bhuj in the said earthquake. He was psychological not prepared to attend International Assembly. Changes do take place after earthquakes. His children had not lost hope and they inspired him to attend the International Assembly.
Dreams came into reality when the then DGE Mr.Bharat M.Dholakia Ex. Chairman Rotary Education Society,the pioner in the Rotary family(Bhuj)and a dedicated Rotarian who had a golden opportunity to depart for Los Angeles,for a comprehensive training of District Governorship from 17th Feb-2001 was given a warm and cozy well come. PRID Mr.Kalyan Banerjee nad now RIDE Manoj Desai met him on 28th January 2001 to persuade him to attend International Assembly.
